As of this moment (meaning I reserve the right to change this policy at some point in the future), I do not wish to provide a free means of advertising for individuals who purchase tickets for the sole purpose of reselling those tickets at a higher price.
I have no moral objection to this sort of speculation since it is a legitimate business just like any other. What I do object to is using my forum to promote a business without making arrangements with me. I have several businesses who pay to advertise on the board and it is unfair to them to allow another business to advertise for free.
If you are one of these people, feel free to contact me (nick@tigerboard.com) about purchasing advertising on the board if you wish to offer your service to Tiger fans.
Finally, to the people who complain about people who resell tickets trying to make a profit, remember that no one is forcing you to buy. These people provide a service that some people are willing to pay to use. It might seem outrageous to you, but for someone coming into town and wanting good seats for a game, the service is a good thing to have.
