Couple of things for you to consider...

1) Last year, KU fans kept saying that our O was anemic and our D was average. We ended up sacking Reesing five times and hanging 45 points on KU. Without a late desperation run in garbage time, the final score would have been 45-28.
2) Average is not holding an always talented MU offense to less than 250 total yards. Average is not picking off two interceptions and recovering fumbles.
3) I'm going to use the same argument against KU that was used between MU and NU all last week. Who have you played? With the exception of an average Southern Miss team, KU has played absolutely nobody. There is no team that you have played that can really gauge how good KU is as a football team. Nebraska has had two of those games, coming up short against a top 10 vatech team and beating MU in a 4th quarter rout.
