Well, we went 2-3 against the spread last week. I don't know how I have done on the year ATS but I know it's not good enough to go back and figure everything up! I did at least have a 5-3 week prior to this one. As the Tigers have improved their play, I've become a bit more interested in college football again so maybe these picks will reflect that in a good way!
MIZZOU -8.5 at Vandy - Okay, "just when you think you got out.... THEY PULL YOU BACK IN." I've seen enough of the home team these past three weeks to accept the idea that the Tigers are kind of for real all of a sudden. Couple that with a Vandy team that Kentucky ran all over and despite some good QB play at Vanderbilt I really like MU here. I'm afraid to post this because my optimism on MU has been misguided more than once but why not!
MU WINS AND COVERS 45-17
VIRGINIA (+19.5) at Miami - Just too many points here when dealing with a fairly solid Virginia team and a Miami team that has had a few surprisingly close games this season and is coming off a huge win. Let's suggest the U only wins by 9.
OU (-36.5) at ku - I correctly identified the one game this season where ku would halfway show up and be competitive. OU wants and will get style points here and win by 52.
Iowa State (-9.5) at Baylor - Baylor picked up their one win on the year. Give me ISU here to get back on track.
K-State (+20) at Oklahoma State - Honestly this spread seems too high to me given the slow K-State pace of play. That makes me think I'm going with an opposite pick. Vegas knows something here. OK STATE by 24
CONNECTICUT (+21.5) vs. Boston College at Fenway - This is a really cool atmosphere and I think UCONN actually has enough on defense to keep this under the number. I'll take the points here.
Navy (+18) at Notre Dame - Again I'll take the points here with ND coming off a tough tough loss.
