No way Michigan finishes #2. They lose 13 players to the draft - including their QB - they lose their coach - I'd be surprised if Michigan is in the top 20 this year.
Clemson at #3? Nope. Clemson has become yesterday's news.
Zona at #4? A second SEC team will make the top 4.
Bama at #5 - Without Nick Saban, I think the Tide takes a major step back.
#6 Texas - Not a bad pick
#7 Ole Miss - Mizzou has just as much coming back if not more - along with key transfers - I would put Mizzou here at #7.
#8 Notre Dame - Marcus Freeman hasn't shown he can coach a team through the regular season.
#9 Oregon - not a bad pick - they probably will end up higher.
#10 - Oklahoma - nope - they limp into the SEC with Venables at 16-10 in his two years, plus two new coordinators and a new quarterback - they will have a minimum of 3 losses next year - probably 4 - including to Mizzou.
#11 Ohio State - Whoever put this poll together hasn't been paying attention to what Ohio State has been buying in the transfer portal. The Buckeyes are putting all of their chips in the middle of the table - they get one of the top 4 byes.
#12 - Memphis - who knows? Could be Liberty again.
Bogus poll and therefore, bogus first round matchups.
